GRAND RAPIDS, MICH., JANUARY 11, 2007 – Interphase announced today the launch of Interphase Health, a new healthcare interiors division devoted solely to the healthcare market.

The new division will be led by Sharon Sutter, a proven furniture sales and marketing veteran.

Ms. Sutter joins Interphase Health from another furniture dealer in Grand Rapids, where she ascended through several sales and management positions from 1999-2006, including developing key accounts and serving as liaison with the architecture and design community. Prior to that, she spent five years at a textile supplier, where she supervised customer service and managed in the in-house textile testing laboratory.

“This is one of the biggest strategic initiatives we’ve launched since the company was founded,” said Interphase President Randy DeBoer. “Although we’ve had a strong track record in healthcare without this specific focus, Interphase Health now formalizes our commitment in the healthcare marketplace. We believe the combination of Sharon’s sales savvy and leadership, our experience and knowledge in healthcare solutions, and products from the leading healthcare manufacturers will totally set us apart from our peers.”

Mr. DeBoer added that strong growth and increasing demand among healthcare customers led to the company’s decision. Interphase is the first dealer in west or northern Michigan to establish a dedicated healthcare division.

• Lobby, waiting and public area seating

Interphase Health will offer customers products from Haworth, KI/AGI, and other manufacturers.

Prior to launching Interphase Health, Interphase served dozens of large and small medical and dental facilities throughout west and northern Michigan. Interphase Health will share the same office building as Interphase Office Interiors but will have its own dedicated showroom space.

Interphase has been providing total interiors solutions in west and northern Michigan for more than 25 years.
